I remember on social media people making out like the Russians are inept and goofy and constantly making mistakes in battle as some kind of motivational propaganda or something. Why in the world would Ukrainians be any better than Russia at fighting? If anything it would be the other way around.

I remember that too. The Russians have been slow and methodical and systematic, but the media reports this cautiousness as ineptitude, it's not.
Ukraine has lost her sovereignty, whether she 'wins' or 'loses'.
