I don’t think it’s possible for bitcoin to ever win over the left at this point. There was once a chance, but I don’t see it now.

It’s possible. Just takes some patience and speaking to their values … and a lot of conversations (not on social media)!
Half of my friends are “on the left”.
Aside from one 75-year old friend, and one alt liner the others have all come across to seeing the value in bitcoin.
I’ve been doing this (not on social media) for quite a while. I have had some success, but it’s easy for that to be negated by an infamous scam or an association with a political movement that they are disgusted by. A bunch of the people I knew who were into bitcoin early have moved on because of this.
Scammers, grifters and shitcoiners have caused enormous pain.

We understand this, but most people don’t. I’ve spent years trying to help friends on the left and middle of the political spectrum grasp bitcoin, but the narrative propagated by the sources they get their information from is almost impossible to compete with.

Several people from the right have appropriated bitcoin as something exclusively for them.
Self called bitcoiners that didn't understand the true nature of bitcoin, if you ask me.
