I like the metric system. Of course, I was trained in science so . . .

Well too bad, we’re ‘murica! We only use the British Imperial System, because reasons!

Only one of 2 countries I think. Much like only 2 countries allow pharmaceutical advertising; the US and New Zealand

And maybe we won’t have that much longer if Bobby follows through.

One can hope.

Imperial has a decent amount of highly composite numbers that work well when you don’t have calculators. Eg 12 shillings per pound, 20 pence per shilling. 12 and 240 are highly composite and easy to divide into a bunch of fractions. Same with hours and minutes. Romans used base 12 a lot.

I’ll switch to metric when everyone else switches to ASCII.
