Relays get messed up. The fetch service is different from each client the way they fetch the notes from the relays is all different. The place you load your pictures too. Your notifications get all crazy. Most of the time you don't get all your notifications. Your wallet settings have to be checked on every client you are logged into. I still get zaps to old wallets from nostr and i dont even have them in my settings. But its stu k out here somewhere. It has become a mess for me. And i been here for a long time. Im no coder im just a regular power user. All on mobile

Well like the internet runs on protocols nostr does to via relays… Sounds like we need to find a more standard relay like blossom across all clients for example. I know that’s not good for decentralization but maybe other relays could “sub relay” like a layer 2 relay?? Idk I’m no coder either!!
This is why nobody is liking nostr, and I know that decentralization is proof of work and you gotta put in work. It's not free. I get that, but the masses aint gonna use this. If you have to manually do everything constantly. And nothing sticks, they're just not gonna come. Some will for zaps and what we here for now but mass adoption i dont see it happening
Eh I see your point but again with my question of every client having their own settings… Gab is different from X and X is different from Facebook. Maybe your problem is trying to use a single client for ALL of nostr instead of for specific tasks??
I'm a simple guy. I just want to post some texts. Some photos and some videos and receive my notifications. And when I receive zaps, that's it, I'm not trying to make nostr Do backflips like everybody else here.
I'm simple straight up old school text photos videos 🤷🏽♀️ if 1 client cant do this the whole protocol lost 🤷🏽♀️
