I finally gave this classic a try. I'd read lots of reviews on it and it still wasn’t quite what I expected. Of all the pipe tobacco I have (30+ blends) this is the one that tastes most like a cigaratte. This tastes like what an American would say “tobacco” tastes and smells like.

I haven’t smoked cigarettes in a long time, but this was very familiar. It tasted like the highest quality no-additive cigaratte you can imagine. Of all of my blends and myriad nicotine delivery devices - it’s the only one that’s given me a nicotine buzz.

I’d buy more of this, definitely - but I do prefer a lot of other aromatic and english blends to it.
