I set up a Bitcoin core node and have been IBDing for the past few days, IIRC I need that before I can install the lightning software?
well yeah but first time running lightning will be tough. DON'T RUN LND.

I think it's (finally) done the IBD since my drive has stopped spinning 24/7. Should I run Core Lightning or any other LN software instead of LND?
You should probably ask in the nodestrich TG group. They are better than me at this.
