Sooner or later there will be an Arab Spring / Occupy Wall St / Sri Lanka / Myanmar / Canadian Truckers / Jan6 type event where Nostr is at the centre.

Something that pits ordinary people against governmental authority.

Have you considered how that might play out?

Consider the trucker protests. Communication channels plus quick easy Bitcoin could have made that a much different situation. If the funding wasn't stopped by govt+business, who knows?
