I'm doing some serious proof of work this fall: hiking the Grand Canyon rim to rim.

Yeah in Springer Mountain. Bringing my two daughters for the first leg to Nantahala. Airbnb, then I continue on my own. Not sure time frame, tbh I dont really want to put one on it. I think I can do the whole thing but we’ll see
What about the canyons? You circumnavigate or hike from south up?
Going to start at the South Rim, hike down the canyon, cross the Colorado River, and hike up the north rim. Roughly 23 miles but doing it in one day.
I stayed in one of the cabins on the south rim. Amazing place. I’d probably look with a different set of eyes now after watching “Is Genesis History” on yt
