Ban is a strong word. You can't really ban from accessing public rooms. You can however ban from audio. The banned user would just need to start a new browser session though and come right back. It's not overly effective, but can help combat trolls and spammers just a little.
May we have the possibility of notification from nests when a new session begins?

you'll be able to see this in your clients if they support it, but it won't be a notification.
Maybe with the client. I can see some notifications with Nostur
