I just wanted to say that I've been seeing your posts for a while now and I always thought they were just kind of weird more than anything.

However I had no idea you were writing them just as a way to show you liked the original art. I think it's a really interesting problem, since you are right that going "wow. Cool. Amazing." all the time is pretty shallow and doesn't really engage with the art much.

I've thought about the same exact problem. The answer I came to is that the best thing someone can do is to tag or describe someone's art so that the artist can see what people identify as the essential aspects of the art and the artist can improve their ability to explore an idea.
