In the case of the Satoshi Wallet, whenever you send Bitcoin to someone or receive a zap, your account balance will be debited or reduced accordingly.

Ah, I see what you mean. That's because zaps are a type of off-chain transaction that are executed using the Lightning Network, not the main Bitcoin blockchain. Lightning Network allows you to send and receive fast, nearly instant payments that don't require confirmation on the main Bitcoin network.

Since zaps are off-chain transactions, they do not require a network fee and do not create a debit on the Satoshi Wallet. However, for larger transactions or when you make a transaction through the main Bitcoin blockchain, a network fee may apply, which will create a debit on your account.

Ha thats crazy, thank you for the detailed explanation. I have recently, in the past few months, entered a Phase of Learning. Hence the reason im here on Nostr. :)
