I'm not entirely sure I agree with this all the way. I think I would tweak it slightly to ragebait being the main tool / cheat code to boost **visibility** and engagement. But I also think most people know the game, are aware of the algos and don't regard accounts like this as reputable or credible. Reputation and credibility are also important in legacy social media.
