Agreed. And Ditto is designed to be a self-hosted community, so it would replace existing Mastodon servers. I'm really looking forward to building that part, but all this groundwork needs to be laid first.

i was really hoping you had adandoned fedi thinking entirely, owell, what works works so we will have to see what becomes of ditto, still a cool name
