semantics MEANS meaning

coercion doesn't mean force, it means demanding an action (submission of a right) at a threat of violence

force is where you are simply grabbed, jabbed and that is that

they didn't force anyone to take the shot

they coerced people

it's not making it any less evil, it's just NOT force, it's a violation of rights, a violation of mind, not a violation of the body

all the idiots just submitted because they believed that if they didn't, their friends and workmates and boss and whatnot would shun them for being grandma killers

they submitted because they would not get freebies from the government, which it got by extortion, which is another semantically distinct type of deception, because the goal is to acquire assets of the victim, which is different to the goal of making the victim do something against their own best interests

coercion is a form of deception, not a form of violence

semantics are, that violence is evil, and so is deception, but violence is not deception
