There we have it. MXNJPY broke 8.725 yesterday, levels not seen in 15 years.
15 years ago, the Peso dropped from 10 yen to 8 yen in a span of a few days during the GFC.
If the MOF and BOJ doesn't start manipulating the markets like they did last year, I expect to see MXNJPY reaching 10 yen in the not so distant future.
MXN has been creaming the other currencies in terms of performance on a risk adjusted basis too.
Are people talking about the Super Peso in the Americas?
I don't see any coverage at all in Tokyo.
