I had a random thought.

I remember growing up using the phrase “There’s nothing on TV” as a reason to do other things.

I guess no one ever says that anymore since there is always something to watch 24/7.

And I remember wasting so much time watching TV. Can’t imagine how much screen time some children are exposed to now.

I don't need to imagine! You are right - there is infinite content available nowadays and it is easy for children to keep scrolling mindlessly, which is a trap. My challenge as a parent is to avoid that my children keeps watching other people's lives passively and get them to create.

On a positive note, if used correctly, there is a lot of great content / education available for free if we teach the kids to filter out properly.

Ahhh yes the doom scrolling… my kids aren’t at that age yet but I know friends of his who watch tv on their car rides to and from school and play Nintendo switch pretty frequently…

Yeah there is a lot of good content out there (bitcoin content 😜) lol

Happy New Year sir! I hope you and the family had a great holiday!

By the way... HAPPY NEW YEAR!
