It depends on the product and the aims it has. Also note the difference between objective quality vs absolute quality.

A sharp knife is objectively higher quality than a dull one of the same make. But that doesn't mean it couldn't be better.

Products that appeal to aesthetics rather than utilitarian purposes would be a lot harder to put in a box though, as different people prefer a different interplay between objective qualities (like sweetness vs dryness, more or less of a given note, etc).
