💯 Someone refusing to use an app because it doesn't address their needs doesn't mean they should never use Nostr.

Build. Better. Apps.

I think some of you feel so special being early that you are loathe to expand the userbase because then you'd just be one of 20 billion npubs.

So, you announce that there are inherent barriers to entry, even though they're just implementations we haven't built yet.

It looks like ignorant gate-keeping and we're just going to ignore you and build the apps, and you can't delete that note.

Dis you?

idk.. what feature does facebook and twitter have that a nostr app doesn't? There are plenty of apps and good one too for nostr. The reason people don't stick around nostr is not the app quality. The quality is arguably better ( no ads...) . It's the addictive, gamification of their apps that nostr apps don't have. Main stream social media is designed to be addictive. It's expected nostr apps will have less use. And they SHOULD. If by "better" you mean "more addictive" sure. I think the pace of development is just fine and there are a handful of nostr apps that shine much more brightly with quality comparted to traditional social media.
