Completely agree. Beautiful and dangerous!

Many years ago I went on a boat ride on the Adelaide river. The boat was quite low down in the water and not that big.

I understood what it felt like to be considered prey that day.

Crocs eyeballing you as they circle the boat, looking for the weakest/smallest on board.

I found new respect for them that day, along with some very white knuckles.

This was on the Corroboree billabong just past the Adelaide river. I went with a wildlife guide who took me in what was basically a 4.5m tinny. After the tour he told me a story that about 25 years ago the rangers had to track down and shoot a big croc after it had tipped over 4 or 5 tinnys with fishermen in it. So glad he told me that after the tour and not during 😂

Oh wow! Glad I wasn’t told that story on my adventure!
