I still don't have a lightning node. I can't get a static IP at home and I don't want to spend the money to run it in the cloud.

Let me look into this. Not sure the work around

Lightning is designed for this. Should your IP change your node can just advertise its new IP and it will propagate. Your channels are tied to your pubkey, not the the full URI. If using TOR its even less of an issue.
