The CBDC doesn't destroy, it's the replacement. Think of it as a drug dealer that can make more money and gain market share with a new drug (product). The drug dealer needs to remove the old drug from the streets because it's now in competition with their new drug.

Just like the old drug market the CBDC is a new product just like the drug to control the people.

We've watched them for centuries, we have a different plan for the people.
