It’s got legacy name recognition, PoW, a set inflationary monetary policy, and never promoted itself as anything but a meme.
It’s basically a self-aware and more predictable money than fiat 😅
Because it’s Elon Musk’s way to also try to seem relevant with blockchain money. Notice how there are still no lightening payments on Twitter?
Elon also favors theft through inflation so he can remain a feudal overlord.l, which is why he touts Doge.
Thankfully his likely power grab will take Nostr, Lightening, and Bitcoin to new heights, which is the ultimate check and balance system.
