Of course you are right.. oppression is the result of the honest people being unwilling to physically secure themselves. They must use physical force to establish order and dismantle the corrupt regime.
But without a basic understanding of economics and a respect for people's property rights, revolutions usually end up with a same or worse type of government. Do you think Venezuela's communist past would help people avoid such a thing?
They are cannon fodder for another dictatorship, but I think that at such times the only thing that is thought of is overthrowing the government
War is a kinetic proof-of-work protocol. After a successful revolution there will be a period of peace where the leadership can be trusted not to exploit the people. But it won't last, and war will again be necessary. This is natural
