So I got a question: are #hashtags actually needed on Nostr?

There is obviously no algorithm that we need to pander to. But at the same I want to to reach as many people as possible - especially if they look up a specific word.

So if I want to reach the let’s say the cat-community. Is it enough to just mention the word cat in my note or is there an actual benefit to write it with a #cat hashtag?
