Might be a good sentiment but in reality he left them in control of unfathomable riches: his kids are directors of subsidiary nonprofits with incredible discretion on how the family fortune is spent

They are already collecting social security and doing nothing if they want. Give them the money or don't. Don't use that as the excuse.
