The Bitcoin Lightning network is a great way for individuals to donate. There are a large number of ways to accept via Lightning that can be setup in mins.

I have also tried to nut out a self hosted solution with LNurl and it’s not easy.
But maybe a hosted LN solution with a system to do regular withdrawals is better than PayPal?

It supports a LNurl option as well.
