I feel like folks are more honest here. I'm sure it's all an act to some degree, at least it is on my part. The paradigm here just seems... less performative.
While it isn't airtight, I think the patience, perseverance and learning curves are organically maintaining that healthier atmosphere on Masto. Trolls don't wanna have to work to troll; Masto -in fact, the whole Fediverse- like many good things in life takes work.
