They don’t accept lightning but you can buy a gift voucher with lightning on vpn.sovereign.engineering

No, you are just buying a Mullvad gift card off that company. Make sure you select the option to get a gift card code, otherwise you are giving them your Mullvad login code, which is very bad for privacy and security.
