The difference between nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 and nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg for plebs… is just the UI?

Any more/better functionality between both?

When will primal get a full release?

The UI is very different and Primal has more “brains” behind it. Showing you more options for curating your feed based on your social graph.

Additionally, primal tries to cache things for you so things go faster.

A recent Citadel Disparch episode goes over Primal in depth.

I may be wrong (and if so, someone please point it out) - but primal doesn’t seem to currently allow relay selection. This may be to them being in beta still.

Relay selection? On what client is that a thing?

Damus allows connecting to relay of choice. I think there are 4 default relays provided, but they do have the option to connect to your own private relay through wss socket.

Oh of course. Thought you meant like selection of relays to turn off and on at different times. Like you would be able to connect and disconnect with ease to different relays

Oh - that would be nice, agreed. One of my small gripes about nostr is published events are dependent on the relays connected to the specific client. Hoping between clients, you’ll soon see some posts not show up made on another client. I wish relay selection could be tied to NPUB rather than through client.
