Yes it was. My father was a great player and until then I could never beat him. Last time we got a draw and I stopped playing chess.

:) I don't remember why I stopped playing, but I do remember the last time because for a while my father told me to play again. Maybe it was just the distractions of adolescence. Anyway, I learned more than chess during the time I played with my father. It is part of who I am 💜
