Got an existential question for #Bitcoiners and #plebchain folk that still fiat mine daily.

Do you find that you are the only one who cares about the job you’re doing?

Do you find yourself ostracized and even reprimanded when you speak up about coworkers lack of care, motivation and adherence to simple work place requirements?

I’m just curious if this is a wide spread issue or just something I’m only now seeing as I begin to actually care about my work as a reflection of me.

Thoughts?

I think it's a widespread issue in most areas of employment. Many people just hate their jobs.

Yes. We are most certainly in a zero shits environment.

I would imagine our community to be some of the most intelligent and efficient work force out there. So frustration of feeling stuck is probably wide spread among us.

Lead by example is all you can do.

Actually, to elaborate further, I had an employee tell me that work is nothing more than a paycheck for them.

They want to get paid.

They want to spend time with their friends and family. That's it.

They are nothing more than a cog in the wheel at that point & not promotable.

Deadwood is pretty widespread in companies once they get large enough to start filling out positions like a dedicated HR person, or grow beyond about 2 to 3 dozen people
