Pavel Durov, founder and CEO of Telegram, was arrested in France for the “crime” of allowing his users to have private, encrypted conversations.

Privacy is not a crime. Encryption is not a crime. And even if some corrupt states consider them crimes, they will never be crimes in the eyes of God.

The ongoing attack on freedom of speech in Europe is what is criminal.
