Your client is pulling this note directly from my phone over tor 📲

My outbox is literally on my pixel. This is an oldy but a goody that I just got working again on latest #Amethyst!

I am noting on Amethyst directly to my local #Citrine relay on the same phone and it is exposed as an onion service.

I created a hosted onion service in orbot and added the citrine port as the local port and onion port. I am using orbot in power mode and still have mullvad vpn running.

I have privacy settings in Amethyst set to orbot and have amethyst selected in orbot.

I then added that onion service url as

ws:// onion url (dot) onion : port 4869 in my outbox relay in Amethyst

In citrine settings I whitelisted my npub so no one else can write to my local relay.

This is pure sovereign nostr setup. Users can directly note to their phone. Other client pulls directly from the phone.

I am not relying on any other nostr relay to have freedom of speech. I can publish and be read directly from my own phone over tor.

One of my favorite setups in nostr 🔥

Actually, it could be simpler: if Citrine could integrate an onion hidden service, like Purrmint does, then Citrine could directly generate an onion address to act as your outbox relay.
