I'm what you might call...πŸ€” sturdy πŸ˜‚, so my halos and squats are done with a 20 lb even after not really doing much for a year or so. When I was in to it, I bumped it up to either 25 or 30, the 35 we have was too much.

I have a copy of From Russia with Tough Love by Pavel Tsatsouline, it has hella good workouts in it. But...it's become expensive recently, if you can find a copy that isn't outrageously priced, it really helped with the areas women like to work on.
