My French Press method:
1. Heat water to a temperature between 195°F and 205°F (90°C to 96°C).
2. Grind coffee beans to a coarse consistency, similar size to coarse ground salt.
3. Preheat the French press by filling it with hot water, then discarding the water after a minute or so.
4. Add the ground coffee to the French press. Use a ratio of 1:15 - 1:17 coffee to water, depending on your preferred strength.
5. Slowly pour the hot water over the coffee grounds, ensuring they are fully saturated. Stir gently to mix.
6. Don't press it down just yet.
7. Let the coffee steep for about 4-5 minutes. Adjust the steeping time to your taste preferences.
8. Slowly press the plunger down, separating the coffee grounds from the liquid.
9. Pound it & LFG!
