I can certainly take a look into that. I had no idea Pear would be Free Software, but I tried to look for a license conducive to that nature. That came up dry, but I'll look again.

yes they have already opened 95% of keets code plus many other things they are working on, they also release in a way perfect for open source with many docs etc and mafintosh the founder is extremely pro open source
