Do you have magnetoreceptive vision unlocked?
I don’t know what psychedelics you hit hard during that time but there’s a chance it was ergot/LSD, so I gotta ask.

Shrooms and mostly LSD, yes.
And no, I did not unlock that type of vision but funny you should ask. I was often at goa-parties when on acid and I did develop the ability to "see" sound in my head. That's why I make ambient music.
I ask because this research suggests that ergot and LSD allow people to see “magnet light” which includes the human aura.
Evidence suggests that the Eleusinian mysteries included consumption of LSD beer followed by experiences in the Telesterion at night which would have been very dark just like that 1998 study.

Well, I saw plenty of things during the active effect ofcourse. I never even gave it thought that the glow I saw around people could have been the human aura. But this wasn't in complete darkness though, so perhaps not the same thing.
I'm going to guess it's the same thing and maybe just in darkness there is less of the more dominant visible light spectrum competing with the "magnet light".
When I think about this stuff, I think about how the same right hand rule that tells us how electromagnets work also applies to the electrons orbiting the atoms of our bodies. Each orbiting electron should put forth a very subtle magnetic waveform. This is actually what magnetoencephalography machines read.
