Yemen is doing pretty well, too. Don't mind admitting I had tears in my eyes thinking about how poor that place is yet they're still doing their best.

The way most Arab governments are now, is how the West has been since the fall of Rome. Not exaggerating...

yemen is broken. the one who is fighting is the houthi (unfortunately they have their own agenda) while their "formal" government is in exile. while i applaud what yemeni did, they are not doing good to their own people. their own people lives below poverty line.

Yemen always was desperately poor and overcrowded.

And north and south have completely different climates, economies and customs, the "official" government should really stop trying to reconquer the north...

in that sense i am grateful being a malaysian. it is messed up, but not messed up bad.
