Yes it’s a workaround for the gifs not always working

I had pretty good results with uploading them to void.cat (not videos). Have you tried it?

Have you tried nostrimg.com or nostr.build ?

I used to have issues directly from damus with those. Haven’t tested recently

nostr.build seems really good to. Haven't tested nostrimg.com.

nostr.build has an API but it's not public access, void.cat has a public API and that's what I've been plugging my apps in
