But in all seriousness it’s become completely obvious that we live in an occupied nation that no longer serves the interest of the governed. That being an issue in and of itself is one thing. The fact that they clearly are aware of the fact that we know this tells us two things -they care more about the interests of the occupiers than the citizens -they believe we are powerless
History has only offered us a few options in this type of scenario.
Sorry for being blunt, I’m just a Scandinavian who probably trust our democracy too much. It’s not perfect, but it’s not that bad either. High taxes, but also high quality of the public services. For me freedom of speech and religion, and very low corruption, are most important. And I’m happy we don’t have a two party system …
I hope violence is the last resort, and that you guys somehow can fix your country.
You’re all good. I didn’t think you were being rude or anything.
I’m definitely hopeful about the future don’t get me wrong. I just think there’s a bit of a rocky road for a little while and it’ll get sorted out.
We definitely have similar desires from our governments. The corruption part being pretty central and usually allows for the other parts to just happen naturally.
I hope so too and I appreciate your well wishes. Thank you.
