I've seen videos of meshtastic sending bitcoin (I think it was ecash tokens) but is it possible to mine without using the standard internet?

I’m probably wrong here but it’s probably too slow for solo mining now… but it might be useful pool mining or if normal infrastructure goes down?
Definitely thinking speed is too slow, but also wondering if someone has hooked up a node or miner just to do a POC. Was wondering because it would be cool if it work for someone to sell like a meshtastic and bitaxe combined as an add on for start9
Might be useful for solar powers miners to link back to something like that miner that can run its own pool & is a node(can’t think of the name lol)?
