I am interested in purchasing some "smart home" devices for my house, like cameras and sensors. But I'm not really thrilled about using a cloud service or some server that is going to track my data.
Is anyone familiar with any low-friction self-hosted alternatives?
Look at homeassistant and all the devices it supports. Surveillance is a core feature.
