Damus just don’t work for me, the search is blank with nothing to see and clicking follow on someone’s profile shows I followed them until I leave the profile and then I have unfollowed them
Anyone else having these issues?

If you hit the little filter icon in the top right, are all of your relays selected?
Half are working half are dead 
For desktop i couldn't get anything to work well until i tried primal.net.. ..which is brilliant, a real eye-opener to where we are going
