A bot would auto-remove posts about bitcoin, but one day the price was pumping so hard people flooded it with slight misspellings and the moderators couldn't keep up, and corn was the misspelling that caught on

I think this was around 2020 or so, but definitely a major price spike / new all time highs. It was a moderator bot removing posts because Bitcoin was against the rules on there. But there are corn futures and a corn ETF, so banning the word corn would have been a whole different thing.
It would have been in the "daily discussion threads" on the wallstreetbets subreddit if I'm right.
Looking at a price chart I'd say late 2020 or early 2021

I prefer being insulted unless the insult uses my fears about Digit against me

I take the accuracy of personal comments (positive or negative) on the internet very seriously. I would love to be able to ask you more questions about your relation to Digit and your thoughts. However, I take the authenticity of responses seriously too. I refuse to filter the content of any personal comments I make towards you.
If you don't appreciate that kind of unfiltered judgement then I am considering disengaging from you entirely and never responding in any way to another post you make. What do you think?
You're overthinking it. Whether you mute me or not has little bearing on when I find out Digit is safe, and even less on whether or not she actually is. You seem to have stronger feelings about the decision than me
The only way it might really matter to me is if you do whatever gives you the best chance of learning about Digit
I'm not sure how you looked it up though - many people other than me have mentioned her in the daily discussion threads in those 2 years 🤙
