If you think you’re the cleverest guy in the room, you may well be, but then you have to ask yourself:
What kind of intelligence and at what discipline(s)?
If you don't ask yourself those questions, then you're probably not the cleverest guy in the room.
I never think about being the cleverest guy in any room.

I doubt that. This are some smart people out there. . especially when it comes to specialized subjects. Sometimes I wish I could absorb their knowledge through close proximity osmosis.
