I respect your preferences and might find I prefer it that way too, were I to experience push notifications from Amethyst. But I'm also all for having choice on a whole host of customizations for one's Nostr experience.
Like other apps, notifications are opt in/opt out , and I'm sure amethyst could do that too.
I tend to agree here. While DM notifcations might be nice. Its super cool not geting a ping for everything
Yeah, I'm selective about what I let ping me. If we do manage to get notifications with Nostr, hopefully you can also selectively turn them on and off for whatever you want to be notified of, and not.
