Final thought for the day: medication, while necessary for some, acts as a form of masking for your symptoms. The numbing or ignoring of feelings that are presenting in hopes of signaling to you that something is wrong, never works in the long wrong.

Medications either targets symptoms or the illness itself.

Symptom management medication is over-prescribed and commonly reinforces the unhelpful idea that we should be free from the consequence of our actions. Nature however determines that we are not. Symptoms serve a function of alerting to fundamental behaviour change needed.

I mean this message of course with the caveat that there are exceptions to this rule.
