Makes sense. I definitely plan my backpacking trips around mosquito season. Try to avoid the first snow melt because it's when mosquitoes are the worst where I am.

Smart. I don't want to ever go to Massachusetts or Connecticut again just because that is where I ran into terrible mosquitoes on an AT thru hike.
