Tried to post something last night, but technical issues...

Anyway, I eat pretty much the same basic stuff most of the time. So instead of repeating the same things, I'd rather share some knowledge or ways of doing things, like how I get my food, or how I cook it. Not recipes, per se - because the ingredients are way to simple for a recipe. So I want to keep posting content to this community, but it is going to be things like this.

I get a lot of my protein choices for the week from the 30% off discount area at the end of the meat section. There's often small packs of steak there, some times some larger packs. Lots of stuff that didn't sell. Plenty of thin sliced. Some weeks are good, some less so. Last week wasn't the greatest, only got two packs of steak (I think it was a top sirloin single steak and some thin top round), but sausage was getting cleared out, so I bought more sausage. Store brand dinner sausage (similar to Johnsonville), and some Hills brand sausage in various flavors. I tried one of the Hills packs, and the casings were some weird thing that was pretty unappetizing, probably won't buy much more of it.

Maybe next week I'll find some better deals.
