Damus used to run SQLite and Postgres but it can’t handle large loads. strfry is the only design that scales, which is why nostrdb is based on it.

Postgres don't scale? Mastodon and the fediverse uses it and it has way more users than Nostr ever will.

nostr has dynamic queries, its a completely different beast
